Applied Pumps continue to develop their range of custom built skid set. This month 4 units have again been supplied for fuelling commercial vehicles at a specialist rail depot. Each skid set comprises 2x Haight 40U internal gear pumps each developing some 120 litres/min of fuel oil. These pumps are each fitted with 3ph 1.5kW electric motors and the packaged assembly is completed with valves, pipework manifolds, instrumentation and filtration, all mounted on a fabricated baseplate / drip tray. The packages are finished with custom made control panels so that they can be operated in duty – standby mode.

All pipework is fabricated by coded welders with flanged connections to prevent fluid leaks, a very common and annoying problem with cheaper screwed alternatives!
