Tuthill Pumps are one of the leading names in industrial pumps, having been first established by James B. Tuthill in 1892 as a Chicago brick merchant. It wasn’t long however before the company started to innovate and go down other avenues. While trying to find a solution for lifting clay from the quarries and deliver it to the kilns, Tuthill innovated a small internal gear pump that could inject oil straight to the burner of a boiler mounted in the back of their trucks. From this small innovation, the entire Tuthill Pumps company was born, fully cementing themselves in 1927.
By 1961 the company was also manufacturing fuel pumps, and by the end of the decade, their first locations in Europe had been established. Today, Tuthill has locations dotted in all corners of the world, with various different pumps in production. Whatever pumping job you’re looking to achieve, Tuthill’s almost 100 years of time-tested performance, flexible and innovative design, and pump engineering excellence has created the perfect pump for almost any application. These include:
Fuel Transfer Pumps
Tuthill’s fuel transfer pumps are perfect for pumping fuels such as gasoline, diesel, and light oils. These Fill-Rite pumps are some of the most reliable, rugged, and robust pumps around, offering heavy duty, high performance, continuous duty and portable fuelling.
